Phase One: Cleansing and Skincare
In the morning, I have a unique approach to cleansing my face. Instead of washing it right away, I start by applying a lotion, a step I’ve recently incorporated into my adult life. This helps prepare my skin for the day ahead without overwashing it. Plus, it saves me from washing my face multiple times during the day!

Tea Time – The Matcha Magic
While waiting for the sauna to heat up, I take this opportunity to make myself a cup of matcha green tea. Lately, I’ve been favoring matcha over coffee because it’s gentler on my stomach. Watch as I demonstrate my remarkable tea-making process, scooping the vibrant green powder into the water. Ah, the aroma is divine!

Journaling: A Connection with Myself
Before the world wakes up, I sneak out of the bedroom to spend some quality time journaling. This is my baseline, a moment to pour out my thoughts, connect with myself, and express gratitude. Lately, I’ve been exploring my intuition, a powerful inner compass we all possess. And guess what? When I neglect it, my intuition gives me a gentle nudge in the form of a bad stomachache.
Welcome to the Sauna
Alright, now it’s time for the sauna session. I step into the steamy oasis, where I’ll spend the next 10 to 15 minutes meditating, stretching, and practicing breathing exercises. The heat helps me loosen up and increases the effectiveness of my stretching routine. It’s pure bliss!

Refreshing Shower and Skincare
After the sauna, it’s finally time to shower and wash my face. I lather up, cleanse my skin, and follow up with a moisturizer and some oil to keep my face hydrated and glowing throughout the day. It’s amazing how a simple skincare routine can make such a difference.

Let’s Get Moving: A Quick Workout
With a refreshed mind and body, I’m ready to kickstart my day with a quick workout. If you want to join me, I usually do a few exercises that support my rehabbing left knee. Sometimes, I have a physical therapist guiding me, but on my own, I put on some energetic music and improvise. Oh, and I must give some love to my little knee too!

The Power of Self-Care
To wrap it all up, let me tell you how this morning routine came to be. It all started during our vacation when I realized that the more I prioritize self-care, the better I feel. So, I’ve made it a priority to schedule my day accordingly. Currently, that means going to bed early and waking up two hours before my first commitment. It’s my sacred time to nourish my mind, body, and spirit.
